I think RJ Umberger would make a better cornerback than good ol' Bradley Fletcher. |

Would anyone dangle MDZ to the Kings right now? Or is he too important to the Flyers moving forward? His play combined with his cap hit and RFA status must look like a desert oasis to the Kings team built to win right now. |

This may be an unwritten rule or something, but I always wondered:
If you're on defense in a game that is more or less for the division lead, and the team has a first-and-goal on the 1 or 2 yard line, why not just take a shot at the QB? At most, it's a 1-yard penalty. Especially when, the last time you played them a guy took a cheap shot at one of your players late in the game. I know it's illegal, but in the end, I'd think about taking a shot at him. |

I really don't think there'd be that much interest from the Kings. I think they'd prefer a proven veteran |

Is this real? So just say to hell with the whole goal line stand thing not to mention the fact that you could kill or injure somebody with a cheap shot just to win 1 game?
Seems legit. I say do it. |

If I'm Edmonton and Nashville wants the pick, I'm asking for something like:
Weber
Forsberg
one of Ellis/Josi
2015 1st rounder
You're talking about a possible Crosby. You can demand whatever you want. If no one wants to massively overpay for him, then you pick the player. - jmatchett383
yeah they also need a #1 goalie.. |

It's a hard hit. Just like1 the dude on Washington threw a cheap blindside hit on Foles. It's not any worse than any time a QB get a blindside sack. And yes, OF COURSE you could injure him. You don't wanna cripple the guy, but honestly, if the Eagles took Tony Romo out, especially in response to the cheap hit the Dallas punt returner threw last time, I wouldn't be crying a river of tears over it. |

See, and here I agree. I think Sanheim IS better positionally, but I think Fleury has better mobility.
I don't know that the two were really compared head to head though. I think Sanheim's bigger competition in camp was probably Dillon Heatherington, who played pretty great. - BINGO!
I know very little about Fleury, but his mobility must be amazing. Sanheim competed closely with Ghost for best mobility among all of our prospects (And I guess players) during camp and preseason. He was outstanding in that regard. |

I could see the Kings looking for a steadier players then Del Zotto. I also don't think he has a lot of value right now as a trade chip. |

I think that Coburn is the one the Kings would want. Sadly, he's the closest thing the Flyers have that could somewhat replace Voynov. |

Yes, but the hardest thing to find is that franchise #1 elite defender. If you build a solid enough team around him, you can win with a Nikolai Khabibulin or a J.S. Giguere or an Anttii Niemi...good, quality starters but not elite goalies. |

Hey Deano... how's about one lightly-used, veteran, 'puck-moving' Andrew MacDonald?

That could be. I think the Kings are going to get out of the Voynov contract. So it all depends on if they want to get tied up with Coburn's future years on his deal. |

Gotta love gun violence. Queue NRA spiel. They must be getting exhausted. - wolfhounds
So you love violence that isn't gun related?
I'm not even getting into this political garbage.. but I will say, I CC everywhere I legally can, because I... I am the only one who can ensure my, and my family's safety. The police have no obligation to protect you, that has been proven in court. And if you think an all out ban on guns(however unrealistic it is) would solve the violence issues in America, you're dead wrong.. There's always bombs and other devices that can take out even more people.
It's a people problem, not a device problem. My guns have never killed anyone... actually no gun has... they're inanimate objects. It's the PERSON that did the act. You can't legislate/regulate crazy, no matter how hard you try...

Thinking Bettman cancels it? Coincidentally, I only just found out he could do that while surfing through the summary of terms a couple days ago while sorting some PDFs. |

Realistically, Bettman can do anything that the CBA doesn't explicitly says he CAN'T do. |
