He also apparently has issues buying in and more or less wants to just do his own thing out there. Not sure that would be a great addition to a team that is basically winning on cohesiveness at the moment.

Great player, great winger - I'd be happy to have him in our jersey... but I personally wouldn't be willing to pay what it would take to get him. Hodgson, prospects, picks - sure. But that won't get it done. I'd otherwise feel we were giving up strength in positions I think are more important - defense, center - to build around a winger. To me reeks of Rick Nash in CBJ, AO in WAS, and yeah - Hall in EDM.

I feel like a guy who's an all situations player is truly buying into the coach's system. As far as motivation is concerned, how motivated would you be having one win in an entire month. I think you'll be hard pressed finding an Oiler fan tearing on Hall over any other player on that team. I mean, you could very well be right, but I don't see it in the slightest. According to fans, he's the de facto captain without the C. And you don't do something like that for a Derek Roy.

And could anyone blame him? We sure didn't blame players when they didn't want to stay under our former management.

If I'm Edmonton I think I would target Risto over Myers. Either one, one of our top 3 has to be going the other way and that is what is going to be hard to swallow.

Charities this Christmas season

Please do what you can for the less fortunate this Christmas season in any capacity that you can.
If it's giving some of your time or even just the tiniest of donations (food, clothes, toys, money) may make a world of difference to some child or adult this year.

My wife and I this year have decided to create gifts to charities in the names of our family members and gift it to them but have them deliver the packages to the charities we have chosen for them uniquely.

I'd try to get it w/o moving any of the big 3 on D

ennis-girgens-moulson on line 2

that solidifies your top 6 moving forward if gringo is ready next season

I can get behind that if Murray locks up the Ewok and then builds a quality third line where players can move up if needed


Only way I consider moving myers for hall is if it's myers and a second rd pick
