Ryan Johansen could be close
or he could be another staff - homiedclown
Correct but we both know he's not going anywhere. Nor is Kerby Rychel. |

And that's fine, you won't get a number 1 pick, that plays on the number 1 line, that's 23 yrs old and capable of 80 points for picks and prospects. |

I dk....i can listen to Myers, Pysyk, McCabe .....but just my opinion I like Hall but at this point I don't think he's worth one of those two Dmen..... Especially since the locker room stuff is coming out now. I know the guy can score...but he's no Kane or Perry at least yet...and I feel like he plays reckless at times which can and has led to injuries, so while I am not totally against a move for him Risto especially is not part of it....just my thought - aschwach
You know what...I don't need others to agree with me, so it's all good, just here to respectfully write about my opinions. I won't be bashing you or anyone else over the head to "convert" you
But you're (frank)ing crazy for not agreeing.... |

Tyler Seguin is an ex-Bruin. The No. 2 pick of the 2010 draft is going to Dallas in a blockbuster trade, a team source confirmed Thursday.
Also headed to Dallas are Rich Peverley and defensive prospect Ryan Button. The Bruins receive left wing Loui Eriksson, young NHL forwards Reilly Smith and Matt Fraser, and defense prospect Joe Morrow. |

I think if somehow we aquire Hall, Many on here will be disappointed with what we will have to give up. But I also believe they will forget about it when Hall is puttting up 80-90+ points a season for the next 10 years. |

2 different teams with needs and wants, the Oilers will be greedy and other teams will line up if Hall is put on the block.
IMO, This talk is all for nothing, how do you explain to your fan base you are moving your star player? I know about the McDavid factor but still........... |

2 weeks ago the Oilers have a BULL$$$T presser (where have we seen that before) to tell everyone that everything is fine and to stay the corse, then they fire there coach after saying everything is fine, now the media or the Oilers start the Taylor Hall might be moved crap? I don't buy it. - SABRES 89

Thornton was traded to the San Jose Sharks in a four-player deal, which sent forwards Marco Sturm and Wayne Primeau and defenceman Brad Stuart to Boston |

We're not winning with goalie play.
Save percentage last two games .885 - Der Kaiser
We are winning with goalie play against good teams. Florida and Ottawa are not good teams. San Jose outshot them 30-14. The Caps outshot them 44-26. The Habs outshot them 44-26 in one of the games. The Kings outshot them 34-16. The Flames outshot them 45-19. Those would have all been losses if not for the goalie play. Take away those 10 points and the Sabres are 30th. |

Whole organization is a mess, now they want to hire another coach that has never coached in the NHL. This should be good. |

Anaheim's top 4 on that Cup team were acquired via UFA or trades.

He needs to stay healthy to do that.
I love Hall, but he's missed a boatload of games, and plays a very TJ Oshie-esque reckless style of play |

Exactly. I'm not trying to rewrite history. They won the games. But the get outshot by double digits and win model is not tenable. The season is too long for a team to ride hot goalie play to a playoff spot. The Sabres are closer to a bottom-5 team than they are to a top-16 team. |

Exactly ! No need to panic yet when we also still have to move out stafford and stewart. Im all for loaning Zadorov to the world juniors but it doesn't seem like that's the plan due to the injuries on the backend. Enroth can't stay hot forever and the past couple of wins he has had sub 900 Sv % but we have managed to score 4+ goals against average opponents playing back-up goalies on home ice. |
