My two cents on trying to get Hall: keeping the top 3 D for the future (Myers, Ristoalinen, Zadarov) is crucial for long term success.

On the young forwards the team has, excluding perhaps Reinhart, Hall is everything you hope that anyone of Baptiste, Compher, Grigorenko, Armia, Fasching could be and more.

None of those would be excempt from going the other way in a deal for Hall.

What EDM would probably want or be willing to take: Myers, Compher, Grigorenko, 1st.

They are not just prospect throw-ins. All have legitimate upside, and two of those can be quality centers.

Agree. Plus at their stage they quickly can from lump group of prospects, to differentiating themselves from the group. The media we are reading on these guys isn't just fluff either.

IMO Ted Nolan is the candidate for the Jack Adams.

They keep it up and he's the runaway winner.

I don't think Ennis and Zadorov gets it done for Hall IMO. Maybe if you replace Zadorov with Myers you can get the ball rolling.

I think we've got plenty of assets to make more than a few "fair" offers, but my guess is the conversation for them starts and ends at Ristolainen and or Girgensons.

If you miss out on drafting top 10, these are the kind of moves you have to stomach to make up for it.
