This team is starting to remind me of the one right out of the lockout. They way they're all playing for each other and stuff. Nobody expected them to be good at all. So now that they've caught fire they're not letting anyone put it out.

Obviously the team in 05-06 had a lot more actual talent on it's roster, but this team is starting to be fun to watch just like that one was. They keep finding ways to win.

We do. I have reservations aligning so much behind building around a winger, personally.

I would consider it for Hall, still very young and a very good player. I would consider that if the Oilers put him on the block, hard not to. We have the space and the players with picks.

The main difference between the two is that the other team kept winning because they seemed to be able to score at will. This team beats the crap out of the opponent physically.

I watched all the terrible games from October through mid-November. I'm not gonna lie, I'm enjoying this hot stretch they're on.

At this point, if anyone of that caliber is available they should be open to trading any and all of those picks to land a guy like that.

Apparently he's telling everyone it's because he came back that they're doing better. And honestly, the timeline matches exactly. His first game was the Toronto game that started this whole stretch. They're 9-3 since he returned to the booth.
