He did have a nice scoring chance at one point. Like you said its tough to tell on a 3rd game in 4 nights, team has injuries, left at midnight the night before. Overall though, he apparently put on all this weight in muscle in the offseason and I don't see it. He just isn't very big up top nor is he particularly fast.

He blocked a shot and registered a hit.. which are pretty big things for him to actually do in the NHL... I also saw that he logged time on both the PP and the PK.. that was a big surprising.

He went 8/15 on the dot too which was good to see because i thought he wasn't very good like 35% on the dot when he was here last.

I didn't watch intently, but they did a small segment on him during intermission, showing all of his work he was putting into the game, the "small" things, so he sounded like he played well from that. I think that may have been 2nd INT?

This Deslauriers kid is pretty good this year.... he is getting a ton of praise as being just a wrecking ball on skates... hits everything that moves and has speed to surprise people with his hits... and he is apparently a pretty good fighter too.

Kind of reminds me of the hype around Foligno in his first year.

He looked much more solid on his skates. defensively, his reads were spot on. Still a touch on the slow side. Actually looks like a very promising prospect. Got a shift or 2 centering the top line but we were pinned in our zone for most of it.

as more players like him develop into players that can move up a line for short stretches, it will be essential for Murray to get 2 legit top line wingers for 2015-16 and beyond
