I think they need to trade their whole core for fresh prospects and high picks. Move out the GM and the whole coaching staff. Reassess the scouting staff, move out some scouts, bring in a lot more new faces. Make a scouting special forces unit. Redesign the locker room. Totally separate from the current culture. Build a team around McDavid and future prospects.
