For this season it would work. In the offseason yes someone would have to moved with my guess that Carle would be the one jettisoned. But for this year we have the cap space so it wouldn't have to be now.

I won't even begin to speculate on the package to get him to avoid this turning into a poopshow, I just think from a team perspective we have the makings of a hockey trade that benefits both sides

I kinda agree looking at it again. Looch doesn't seem to be Looch anymore, and he'd be the centerpiece. Solderberg as a 2nd line C might be alright. If no Hamilton, then Krug or Seidenberg. Still though yeah...
