so someone in my hockey league just dropped all 3 of their goalies which im guessing was an accident. I have already placed waivers on all 3 of them, lehtonen, bobrovsky, and anderson, not in that order of course! and i think im 1st in waivers!!!

Sutter is a 2nd/3rd liner. Despres is a 2nd/3rd pair defender. Pouliot is a high potential prospect with, what, 1 game of pro experience?

First trade, I think I would do it. We probably overpay in terms of value and I'd rather get a guy like Rattie for Dumoulin but this would help us right away.

I would do both moves from today. Harrington and Sutter for ROR (w/salary retained) and Talbot. Then Dumo and 4th for Tlusty.

(prob different line combos but that would really fix our forward situation without giving up Pouliot, Kapanen, 1st, or Martin)

Ok "bud" I guess that a matter of opinion. I think playing 25 minutes a night in every situation for a stanley cup contender make him a star, not a superstar but definitely a star and a rising star at that.

First off, he doesn't play 25 minutes a night.. he's only eclipsed the 24 minute mark twice this season. Pretty sure his average is around 20 minutes per game... 3/4 d-man minutes... one season, with 30 points does not make you a star. Players similar to his production? Kris Russel, Eric Gelinas, Andre Benoit, Andrew MacDonald, Tom Gilbert... I wouldn't call anyone of them stars. The kid has potential, but to call him a star in his 2nd season after he put up average numbers in his 1st, is premature.

I know the flyers suck this year and flyers fans in general don't offer the most stimulating conversations unless you can discern the meaning of one click and grunt pattern from the next in order to exchange basic thoughts with each other, but why do you come here, to your biggest rivals thread? I don't think martin goes anywhere until he walks in the offseason, that said hopefully we can sign foligno in the offseason

I really like dumoulin, but unfortunately I think he is odd man out. Either dumoulin or harrington but we get to see harrington next game (hopefully) as he has been practicing on the third pair I think.

In all honesty, yes, I'm a Flyers fan first and foremost. Not gonna hide that. But I grew up when the rivalry between the teams was 0, and was a fan of the Lemieux/Jagr/Stevens teams, and have always liked the Penguins. Plus, my wife is from Pittsburgh, so I follow them pretty closely, but feel I can offer a bit of a less-biased view at times. Hope most of you can appreciate that.
