I don't see the upgrade here.

You can't get a number 1 pick 23 yrs old, 80 points and number 1 winger for picks and prospects. Myers is where the talking starts, as it should. They like Psysk, they always have but him and picks with a couple prospects will in no way get you Hall.

No you can't, they want a number 1 D man not young players 2 years away and not more picks. They want a number 1 D man, you won't get Hall for anything less

You often see star forwards traded before you see number 1 D men traded. Theres a reason GM's value number 1 D men more than star wingers. Hall is not going to land them a number 1 D man. GM's wont do it.

I don't know about that. I think they want to stop being bad right now. Trading Hall makes them worse, getting Myers evens it out a little bit.

Getting a 1st for Hall sets them back a bit.

What does it matter if they have to wait an extra year or two at this point? They are even preaching the "patience" both from the executive suite and the former coach who just got fired. Getting those 2 1sts would do wonders for them. 3 1sts in this deep draft. Like I said, coming away with 2 top 10 picks when one of them is McEichel is like landing 2 top 5 picks in any other year. Losing Hall would make the suffering a lot less with that kind of haul.

Lets not even mention that Myers doesnt arrive and immediately fix everything by himself.
