I hope some of you went downtown last night and enjoyed this fantastic project that is now completed.
Skating is free y'all, go down and enjoy this gem we have created.
I was like a proud Poppa last night at the opening.
My site for pretty much the entire summer besides putting in 7 miles of concrete barrier wall on I-86 in Salamanca by the Casino.



Next up : Ramps and barrier wall for Peace Bridge in March until July then they shut us down (traffic reason) for the summer until October and also Robert Moses Parkway recon roundabouts with a ton of custom concrete like Canalside.

I laid my self off now to rest my body so I can once again start abusing it come March.
But seriously, if you get a chance go down and enjoy that outdoor rink directly across from HarborCenter.

I read the entire post... I know. In terms of production, yes. I can see where Hall doesnt reach 80 for a little while if ever again. Because Im not convinced he'll consistently play full seasons.

Theres plenty of ways they can ship out Hall. And a package of a high draft pick in this years draft plus NHL ready prospects is greater than a package surrounding Myers as a main piece.

Its not the same because DET doesnt have other comparable assets to deal from like BUF has. DET only real strengths are their roster players, or their top prospect. They dont have a top 5 pick to dangle...

If DET was able to offer a top 5 pick, another mid to mid late 1st rounder and an NHL ready prospect or 2 for Myers, I would jump all over that.

If DET was able to offer a top 5 pick, another mid to mid late 1st rounder and an NHL ready prospect or 2 for Myers, I would jump all over that.

This was the Project that my Pops was proud to hear that I was going to be a part of.
When my Pops heard about it, he couldn't wait to go do down and see it after it's completion.
Well, Pops never made it to the completion.
I told the story of what this project meant to me to the Site superintendent and their head safety guy from Pike (Tom and Tony respectively).
I had all 3 of us , 3 grown men in tears hugging one another after telling them my story.
I hope you can still see what we did from up above Daddy...love and miss you more than anyone will ever know. .

In all honesty if those were the only players but picks were included on either side, I'd feel it were a fair deal and a hockey trade.

Not saying either player are at these players caliber but Pronger was traded for Shanahan straight up.

Depends on who the prospect/players are.

Any good NHL GM (on a rebuilding team) IMO should have a lineup board and should have an idea of what their roster need/wants to look like in 2-3 years from now
I only want Murray to be targeting specific players that fit that idea of a lineup.

If he views Anthony Mantha or Taylor Hall a fixture on the top line for 10 years, and doesn't figure Myers on the top pairing, then make the deal
