lock up the goalies
get 2 elite wingers for the top line to go with reinhart
keep risto, zads, myers, gorges and the line of ennis, girgens and moulson while getting those 2 wingers - homiedclown
Delay of game twice within the last 3 games.... Trade him, he's a bust! |

Anyone in that 'elite' status will probably cost us at least one of those two. - Sabresfan-365
preds did not pay too much for neal, a second line player and a third liner
between foligno, pysyk, mccabe, armia, gringo picks, prospects, and the returns we get for staff, stewart and the ufa d men, there should be enough to land 1 top line winger without taking a hit moving forward |

Because offers were probably more realistic for what Neal is doing now rather than what Neal can do with Malkin and/or Crosby on his line. Having two PROVEN stars like that (distinguishing that due to Hall playing with some good linemates as well, but not as established in the NHL) will make his stats look better.
Look at Neal's stat line this year, even with Forsberg on his line for all but 1 of his 19 points, he's 11 points behind even that kid. |

Wouldn't put him in the class of the 'elite'. He's a pretty good winger, but he has his share of flaws.
You can get guys like neal for the players you mentioned but the ones in a class above will definitely require us to give up a lot. |

Anyone see Myers get laid out last night?
Some of you on here are savey enough to post the video! - Irish 14
A couple of things on my mind.
I think Myers is a good defenseman but is not elite.
He does not have the production for that.
Did anyone notice on the power play that Myers will spend almost the entire time on the ice and most of the time is not accomplishing anything other than motion?
There is a second unit Tyler.
I will bet you he is the least productive point producer in the NHL re points per power play minute played.
Also, Ted Nolan has this habit of calling his players out publicly rather than having it out with the individuals privately.
He stresses team and crucifies individually.
He has called Stewart 'soft', called Meszaros a coward one time and again last night 'pretending' to block a shot, and dumped on Hodgson.
I am not questioning his views but rather I think the forum is wrong.
Continuing like this, he will split the room. |

IMO those are the type of wingers you need with Nolan as coach |

honestly, after watching the soft players "suck sisters" over the years, I am ok with it
if they do not turn it around, they will be moved
as long as the coach is Nolan, it will be a 1 team unit, if they do not sell it all the time, they will not be here when their contracts expire |

That's a great point strongsupporter - his offensive production is lacking! But hey, he plays 28 minutes and has a great reach |

Yes like clockwork, you commenting on Myers in a blog that had nothing to do with him or anyone mentioning him.
Like clockwork you came here to stir things up.
I honestly can't care less that you don't like him. I just find the fact that you want people to post a video of a player on a team we all root for getting laid out very weird

not a bad thing, just nothing like what many expected when he won the calder |
