6 shots for Rust on the night, and he was noticeable in good ways every time he was on the ice.

Thought maybe fleury had a chance to set a record for most shutouts in a single season. Didn't realize the record is 22
That's ridiculous

Letang played one of his best non-scoring games as a Pen tonight. Lights out offensively and defensively.

fun game tonight.

very impressed by Rust so far. has played a smart and good game in his appearances so far. need energy like that in the bottom pairing.

defense was good, MAF was great, but of course the shutout wasnt because of him.

I think he has been playing really well lately. On the game winning goal, he didn't panic at all with two guys on him. Made a good pass that led to the goal, he won't get an assist, but he made that play happen. You can see he is playing with a ton of confidence.

Picks has been lights out since being called up. This team is so close right now, it's frustrating. Too many guys like guenin, Holden, and McLeod who played over their heads last year and now have come down to earth, really dragging the team down at times with their sloppy play. Hopefully they bite the bullet on their recent extensions and move onto Better depth guys to compete

Yeah, Rust has surprised me. Team defense is so much better under HCMJ.

Just watched OT again, and what a nice board play by Despres to keep the puck and ultimately led to the goal.

I like Bryan Rust. I said earlier this season that he reminded me a little of Tyler Kennedy how he always seems to be around the puck and going to the net.

I think he has better hands than TK, but he can play that game. A nice guy to have on the bottom six. He is a smart and responsible player who got a solid foundation from a good program/coach at ND.

He has a way to go and needs to get stronger on the boards, but he could someday end up being a Pascal Dupuis type player if he keeps developing.

This team is starting to look like they have some bottom 6 depth at the wings in these call ups... not saying gamebreaking talent, but better than we have had the previous few seasons.
