It's scary to think where Despres would be at if the former administration allowed him to play more than 2 games at a time. Kid is having a great year, and only see him getting better as he gets more experience.

I'm surprised none of the bottom teams went after stalberg. Maybe scared of his cap hit... idk

If our bottom 6 guys and the few sprinkled in the top 6 weren't working out I would say the pens should go for it but with the addition of klink and Rust playing well he isn't needed.. plus we still have unlucky beau and old man kuni waiting to return

Please tell me why farnham is on this team.. his skating is horrible and he is due for a penalty... He brings nothing and I don't buy that energy guy crap. Every player should have energy out there and be happy to play the game... shouldn't need one guy to get you pumped.. He has no skill.. When is kuni BB and a trade going to happen

I actually thought the whole 4th line played really well last night. They kept the puck in the offensive zone, had a lot of good scoring chances, and they were banging the body like we normally don't see in the 'Burgh.

Stalberg was sheltered offensively in Chicago. Did not present himself as a two way player in Nashville. Contract was too much. It was smart to let him go.

He still makes that one little bonehead play every game but they have become less costly the more he has played.

He has been better than I thought he would be. WAY more physical than I thought he'd be as well. He plays pissed off which I love.

Must dress every night. And, if we were to move him, I'd want something nice back in return. He'd no longer be a throw in but the centerpiece of a deal.

Picks has been lights out since being called up. This team is so close right now, it's frustrating. Too many guys like guenin, Holden, and McLeod who played over their heads last year and now have come down to earth, really dragging the team down at times with their sloppy play. Hopefully they bite the bullet on their recent extensions and move onto Better depth guys to compete

Sometimes you need to take a step back to move forward. Best of luck to the Avs.

Its interesting, because I NEVER saw that aspect of his game before this year. He's been tremendous.

This team as a whole has a LOT more grit this year and I think that will be helpful come April.
