I think we'd get a good return for Coburn at the TDL. So probably not. But package another defenseman in - any other defenseman - and I'd seriously consider it.
Oshie to the Broons is the current rumor.

Those guys aren't cheap. They don't fix the Blues cap situation so I'd have to say they wouldn't |

You know if Couturier was made available almost every team would check in on him. He is 21 and already solid defensively. That is usually the hardest part to teach. His offensive will come and you can see his skills. His draft year he was talked about as the possible number one until he got mono. Yes he isn't a speed demon but niether is some other skilled players like Joe thorton. Also Couturier plays against some f the hardest competition and is asked to still push play offensivly. Thats a lot of responsibility on a 21 year old.
People talk about how the Patrick Sharpe trade was bad. Trade Couturier and I am sure we will have another to talk about. - J35Bacher
I can see the skill Couts has but I dont see the skill Read apparently has. He is a very basic player. His best attribute is being defensively responsible. I have seen too many times on here that people consider him a top 6 winger. He is not that kind of talent. If he is what is considered top 6 in Philly I believe that is part of the problem with this team. Lack of skill |

Total fluke by an unskilled player. Just like all his other goals. |

So you show the one highlight he has had all season? Cool. I would like to see him do that on a regular basis. Thats right... He doesnt and never has.

I think he's nursing an injury. He's just not the same guy out there |

Not even close. Even if he was the same guy. He is a 3rd liner. A good one. Im just arguing against the Read lovers of the world who think he is some top 6 winger. |

He's had a rough season but for the 3 seasons he's been here he's produced more than enough goals to easily be considered a top 6 winger on the majority of NHL teams. |

So he had one goal less than Jake last season. You're getting carried away. |

6x30 teams is 180 players. That's a lot of players you have ranked ahead of him. I'd love to see that list.
Edit: I'm not saying he's a first line player but he'd be a solid second line winger on most teams. |

See the thing is... Read has gotten his 20+ goals but when think top 6... Im thinking of 2nd line center Tyler Johnson who would skate circles around Matt Read. |

Doesn't and never has? Are you purposefully trying to make us think you are a joke and not to be taken seriously? Or are you just trolling because you have nothing better to do?

I think he's a borderline top 6 forward. He's defensively sound, has a good shot, and can handle the puck offensively. That's a third line weapon or a decent second liner.
Not lately though. He's been poor. |

I think is pretty obvious since day 1 that Voracek has a much more superior skill set. That isnt even debatable. |

So when you think first line do you think of Stamkos as the standard? |
