Zuccarello is intriguing for the Coots line. I'm sure the Rangers end up resigning him. But how good would that line look with Zucc and Read in his natural RW spot. That line looked great with Akeson on RW and Read playing LW. Zuccarello is like Akeson on steroids with all the ingredients to mesh with Coots and Read.
One can dream.

I wouldnt want Zuccarello. I cant even stand that dudes face. The Matt Read love affair needs to end. Is it me or has he lost a major step in terms of speed? Also he has almost no puck skills. He is north and south, shoot and pass. No stickhandling whatsoever. This team is boring....

I know people don't want to hear it, but I'd listen to offers for Schenn and Coots as well. You never know what offer might fly your way involving them. All I'm saying is, they aren't untouchable in my mind... as much as I like them both.

If they lose tonight, the Flyers are not going to bail on the season, nor should they. Now would be the worst time to have a fire sale. I'm comforted by the fact that Hextall is not that foolish to bail on the team now, and start trading whoever he can.

Thanks, Bill. I didn't think he was roving around too much, personally.. I mean, I did notice he was pulling out of position a little bit more than he should, but I certainly didn't think it was enough to warrant this many games as a healthy scratch.. Is he not listening to the coaches, and refusing to work on it in practice?

Honestly, I think he is practicing fine. But MDZ came here knowing (or should have known) there wouldn't be much slack on the rope. He damn near found himself out of the NHL this season and there is a tightrope he has to walk for quite awhile, especially with someone such as Chief as his head coach.

This entire team/coaching staff is (frank)ing retarded.

That's ok, let the leafs win now. That way it will be much more fun when they end the season with 10 straight losses, miss the playoffs by one point and, as an added bonus, go absolutely crazy because they traded their 1st for a deadline rental!
