So what in your opinion are the right moves? im curious...stay the course isnt exactly working for this team. Im not saying trade away everyone tommorow, but things have to change at the end of the season. This just isnt a winning group.

Last year's team had Kimmo Timonen to both settle down the PK and provide leadership. They also had Hartnell, a 20 goal scorer, not RJ, a complete waste of space. And they had Hall, who excelled at winning D zone faceoffs and starting the PK with an easy clear.

This team doesn't have the horses to go on a 10-2-1 run. They just don't.

BTW, I figured this might amuse you: I just picked up a video game, Poker Night at the Inventory 2. The big draw of the game is the opponents you play against (who strike up conversation throughout the game), among whom is Ash, voiced by Bruce Campbell. Pretty groovy, imo.

He tinkered with the entire lineup throughout the year. It's probably time to just get out of his own way, settle on 4 lines, and let them get as comfortable as possible with each other.

Yep. And while he's at it, put the best and most capable guys on the special teams units and do the same. Get Umberger off of the PP once and for all and have a semi-solid line rested that can take over afterward.
