We can eliminate half the posters since they're semi literate at best. Sam can at least string a sentence together. The point may be off but the sentence structure is solid.

I think Read comes closer to 15-20, assuming Berube finally grows a brain and gives that line a legitimate player. God, I almost want Steve Downie back on that line. ALMOST.

$3M hit for three years (including this one). Nashville gave him 11 minutes/game over those 5 games he played, but he was just coming off an injury. He played well in Chicago before initially going to FLA.

In the right situation, he could rebound.

No shortage of applause when he boldly benched VL and AMac, and there has been general approval of many lines/pairs he's assembled/reunited over the course of the season.

The criticism hasn't been nearly as blindly biased, nor unobjective, not as monolithic as you are fond of portraying it as.

Chief has made a lot of rookie blunders. People are just calling it as they see it. If you have a personal problem with that, deal with it.

From some sources the criticism has been blindly biased and completely unobjective. And your post above proves that. If a player you have a personal problem with gets scratched, you approve. Did you read any posts made by me, complaining when MacDonald or Schenn, two players I have supported, got benched? You didn't, because I looked at the situation objectively and with an open mind. When a player you support gets scratched, you call out the coach instead of looking at it objectively. Berube has also been widely criticized for the line combinations he has put together, and the combos he has tried to attempt to find some consistency. He's been working with pretty much one consistent line all season.
That Berube has made a lot of rookie mistakes is simply an opinion, not a fact. There is a clear lack of objectivity from some sources when it comes to Berube, that is really based on ignorance more then anything, and that's calling it like I see it. If you have a personal problem with that, deal with it.
