Dougie Armstrong?
Why would Boston trade St-Louis GM?
or you meant Hamilton? |

If someone is willing to over pay for Hall, I'd do it. |

I think the Bruins would be more than happy to send Dougie Armstrong to the Oilers. |

I could see a deal for Hall in the summer but not right now, too many cap restrictions and not enough flexibility. |

It all depends on the return...
If I'm MacT I'm not looking for futures though. I want current impact players. |

If Hall is traded. Oilers want a poop load of players. Number One Goalie and Stud DMen... |

Edmonton doesn't have the cap space to take back the amount of money they'd get back for Hall. He is worth quite a bit and the Oilers wouldn't trade him for cheap even though they are in a bad position right now. You don't trade a top 5 scorer from last year on a terrible team for nothing. |

For hall they would ask for something crazy like Hamilton, Subban, prospect and a 1st...
Aka, not worth it. Not sure I trade Hamilton straight up for Hall... Yes, hall is a better player, but top pairing Dmen don't grow on trees, especially ones that are early 20's and already a top pairing Dman, with Chara older why would they ever move Dougie. I think Hamilton is pretty much unmovable.
Bruins could realistically offer Subban, Khoklachev, Krug and a 1st or something like that most likely, which likely doesn't get it done |

Never start your rebuild around a winger. Hall, Nash, kovalchuk, ovechkin. They will put up great numbers but wingers are just not that valuable to a hockey teams success. |

Wingers are a dime a dozen. Elite wingers are a luxury. they don't make bad teams better but they make good teams great. |
