I can't see them moving him. nobody is going to want to pay what he is worth (or atleast what the oilers will want for him).....and the oilers likely won't settle on a deal they don't feel is fair just for the sake of shaking things up.

if they're going to "settle" on a deal, i have to think it will be for yakupov, or maybe eberle, but certainly not Hall.

teams who trade young superstars are setting themselves up for trouble........see seguin.........and it's the reason that you always hear rumours about young star players being moved, but it almost never happens.

To me, the obvious comparable is the Kessel trade. Two 1st's and a 2nd - but neither Toronto or Boston thought that one of those 1st's would be #2 overall... They were expected to be mid-round picks at best

Hall is a very very good LW, he may even be among the game's elite, but with guys like Evander Kane thinning the market, and veterans available at the position year to year, it's going to be tough for them to address positions of need (D/G) in a trade without bulking up a package of players.

I also highly doubt the Oil would target a prospect goalie (Subban for example) given the rarity of goalies panning out.
