This is a big shift in stance from "Truth hurts. I dont wear orange tinted glasses. I see this team and their players for what they are." - BulliesPhan87

I give credit where credit is due. I have praised the play of the few players on this team performing well. Right now this team is in the dumps and myself and many others want changes made. - GOA88
Which is fine. But you and SSB seem to lack any semblance of tact or presentation, and just come out all bashaholic-style, and you refuse to actually discuss things (for the most part). |

I was really hoping the Voracek debate would lead to more fighting. Instead, we had a logical discussion. I'm disappointed - PhillySportsGuy
There weren't enough people that misread your post as "I want to and the Flyers should trade Voracek." That's how the arguments always start. |

So do you disagree with me that the Flyers are a bad team with about a handful of good players right now? I'm not making MJL or SuperSchennBros claims here. It isnt exactly groundbreaking news. |

I'm confident MJL will come in later and get all upset about the Voracek talk. That will bring it back for angry debate later |

My nose is big too. I have horrible post nasal drip as well. I wish I could trade it in for a better nose like Michael jacksons - PhillySportsGuy
You could take it off at night, at least. Maybe soak it in saline. |

I don't think most people are disillusioned about how the team is playing. But, to use Matt Read an an example, he's a relatively young guy who was playing injured. Over his first 3 seasons, he's averaged over 20 goals (pro-rated 12/13) per year. This year, he's slumping badly. But that doesn't mean he's an awful, useless player, which is how you come across as making him out to be. |

Thats not true. I discuss things with just about everyone on here and continually use the words... Think and feel. To clearly state that it is just my opinion. I did go on a pretty brutal bashing of Read yesterday on the otherhand though. |

I wouldn't trade Simmonds. And if the Flyers weren't moving him for the 1st overall (in a weak draft, granted), I doubt they'd do it for a 15-30 pick this year.
Also:
"L. Schenn/Grossmann - available as they could help playoff team needing to upgrade defense depth or PK for a playoff run."
Is this how you truly feel? - jmatchett383
We don't know what all else was in the package so we don't know why the trade didn't happen.
Yes Grossmann and Schenn can provide a physicality needed in long playoff series. Also they block a ton of shots and help PK. Just because our PK right now is not good it isn't just because of the defense. |

Actually my argument yesterday was that he is not a top 6 talent. I think he is a 3rd liner at best and the fact that the Flyers NEED him to produce at a top 6 rate is part of the problem with the current teams depth. |

Your argument yesterday, if I remember correctly, is that Read and Couturier are not good offensive players. |

my opinion isn't part of the equation here. All I'm saying is it's maximum strength weak sauce to play the "I see this team for what it is, all truth and no bias" card, then dial it back to "I'm just, like, saying my opinion, man." |

Don't forget the QoC and offensive zone starts which have presented numerous times but are still ignored. |
