Of course this IS the Flyers, so:
Day 1: Mason has an LBI, and is being evaluated
Day 2: Mason is day to day with back spasms
Day 5: Mason will likely need back surgery, we're gonna wait and see
Day 10: We are sad to report Steve Mason died today, his return this season is doubtful - BiggE

I hear ya. LOTR takes place awhile after the events of the Hobbit and they're really not that connected in terms of story aside from the ring. The Star Wars prequels were just the beginning of the same story as the original 3 so separating them would sort of undermine their purpose.
I think if they did the Hobbit in one or two movies, it would have been more clear and enjoyable for me. I felt like they stretched the story so thin and added so much that it muddled the actual plot. - NickTheKid87
yeah. when i said distance between the films, i meant more in actual terms of real life years of being put out. star wars to me was so cool because it was older but still kicked ass. obviously im too young to have experienced them in their hayday, but it was something that growing up just blew me away as to how well they held their own. |

i HATE 3d theatres. not worth the price. not even enjoyable. and the dopey glasses. whole thing just sucks.
and even 8 bucks is cheap if you can find it. was 10 and change yesterday for like a 430 showing at neshaminy. - stayinthefnnet
I saw Interstellar in IMAX in King of Prussia (no 3D because I don't like it either) and that was the best part of the movie. |

ive heard that name a lot, especially recently. he is referenced in almost every other facebook post from a large number of the TV Film type girls that went to my college.
never really knew who he was.
but in that voice. ugh. love it.
does he do it totally unedited? that would be ridiculous. - stayinthefnnet

I agree on the CGI. They went nuts in the Hobbit. It's as if they just discovered it. CGI is a great tool but part of what made LOTR great was the cinematography which involved more real stuff and that was lacking in the Hobbit, IMO. - NickTheKid87
One of the biggest knocks from Tolkein's estate (fam) and Viggo was the overuse of CGI. Made the other two movies feel like I was watching a video game. Jackson was also quoted as saying he wished he did all the orcs in LOTR as CGI as well.

Its about the moooney homeslice. Never was a fan of 3D but the good one's in Winnipeg, its only in 3D.
Just have to make sure I don't drop a tear, LOTR was THE movie of my nerdy teen years. At the ripe old age of 24 as of dec 18, the age factor is sinking in. - flyer_nutter

Which they ask for you to recycle afterwards... I keep them just for spite, and throw them out at home because I paid for them... |

Yeah I got you, I was adding that the time in the "universes" was also different/the same. It'll be interesting to see what happens with this new Star Wars. I'm sure it will be scrutinized against episodes IV-VI but it's a whole new story and everyone hated I-III so more power to 'em. |

They would have looked awful in early 2000s CGI. Thank god he used actors instead. |

Nope. They surprised me on the ward with cake and a happy bday song. Was nice but (frank) did it make me feel old.
I miss the 18-22's. My R hip hurts if I run for too long. How (frank)ing sad is that. I also prefer to sit when I pee if it gets late at night. |

The KOP IMAX is huge and if you have a movie like Interstellar playing, I recommend it. The other IMAX theatres I've been to are the one in Warrington, which isn't that big and not worth the additional price, and the Franklin Institute, which is garbage because it warps the picture on the ends because of the roundness of the screen. |

Larger screen, better sound, better picture. The screen is generally curved as well to make it feel more encompassing. That's why I don't like the smaller IMAX screens: they don't achieve the intended effect. KOP does. |
