This...could end up nagging him his whole career guys. This is the kind of thing that concerns me. - Giroux_Is_God
What? You don't even know what it is yet!
If it is back spasms, they aren't necessarily caused by anything structural. |

I don't know that anything more has to happen, if Mason were out long term
If Voracek wasn't having one of the best seasons I've seen a Flyers winger have since Gagne was absolutely on fire the year he popped 47 -- and Giroux's been Giroux -- but to me, Mason's clearly been the best Flyer this season
I like Ray Emery, but that's not the answer for an extended period

It is not good.
I am worried, they finally have a good goalie and now this.
Wait and see, but I am worried. - Marc D
Based on the reporting of the crack Philadelphia hockey beats, who may not know the difference between a back spasm and a case of the mumps. I'd be more worried if Bill reported as a hospital eyewitness. THEN I'd worry. |

Yes, without Mason, this is hands down the worst team in the league. Not necessarily talent wise but we all know this team refuses to out work their opponents. |

Case of "The Bryz?"

Good luck to Mason. I'm sure its nothing serious....but I am hoping this team falls to the depths of the standings. |

I doubt even Hasek could make them a playoff team.... |

Actually its a blessing in disguise. They werent going anywhere.... now they have a legit shot at getting a top pick if its long term but I think Mason will be fine. I bet he is back in at least a week..... |

this attitude is sickening at best... guess some of us have more fortitude. i find draft talk this early atrocious. losing is a sickness and winning is a lifestyle. |

Well there is a difference between tanking and just sucking. I would love for them to make the playoffs but I have serious doubts they do. Even with Mason. I dont want them to quit but if they are gonna suck then I would rather it be worth it and get a great pick. |

Well, if he does have muscle spasms, going on a flight wouldn't be ideal treatment. |

He could always catch another flight later in the trip. I seriously doubt its major. |
