Well there is a difference between tanking and just sucking. I would love for them to make the playoffs but I have serious doubts they do. Even with Mason. I dont want them to quit but if they are gonna suck then I would rather it be worth it and get a great pick. - GOA88

Well, if he does have muscle spasms, going on a flight wouldn't be ideal treatment. - bodiva88

Agreed. At least that team tried. - GOA88
Yea, we could really use the likes of Kyle Calder, Mike York, Mike Rathje, and Petr Nedved.

Well hopefully our GM wouldnt make another trade like that. Its not like JVR was gonna bring a cup or anything.... Heres the thing. I HATE losing and I hate when a team I know can do better but doesnt put their full effort into it. This team needs major changes in attitude, culture and talent. Teams like Pitt, Chi, Tampa among others have gotten a cup because they blew it and got the #1 pick once or twice. |

They were horrible. I know, but that team actually hit, fought, and really tried. This current Flyers team has no backbone. I cant stand it. Losing because of serious lack of talent is easier to stomach. For me anyway. |

teams have also encamped themselves in the nhl basement for decades, the islamders and oilers come to mind. winning starts and stops at the top and once the front office accepts losing so will the team and then you have entered dangerous territory. the flyers have been to the finals 6 or 7 times, coming damn close in '87 had tim kerr been healthy who knows what couldve happened, in 2010 i think emery wouldve given us just enough to get past the hawks, so injuries more than anything has worked against the flyers until recently when homer went full moron in his last two seasons as gm.. id rather they continue their tradition of icing the best team possible, (frank) the pens, LA and all the other mother(frank)ers who poop on the game by tanking a season! |

We were talking about this early. General consensus is 3rd at best depending on how desperate teams are and if his play doesn't fall off. |

well douglas murray fetched 2 2nds, I think you could get one 2nd rounder for him if he keeps playing well. |

Depends on a lot of things and I don't think any team makes the mistake of giving up two 2nds for a Douglas Murray-type again. |

1 Second rounder for Schultz would be a heck of a return especially considering we don't have one this draft. I'd hate to give up a pick in this draft, but if they could package one of the 2 4th rounders with Salary and Vinny they could avoid a more expensive buyout. |
