It's pretty painful to listen to any radio station anymore because of the repetition. They are on a two hour loop, within those two hours you will here the same song at least twice. And if you drive at the same time every day its the same damn songs.
I should probably get satellite radio. - jochfr
SXM...the Jam On channel is pretty good if you're sick of the same old stuff and want to experience something different.
Like other though, they also can be repetitious after awhile, and they love Phish. But for me it is a good change of pace. And they have a couple of Classic Rock stations which is good for throwbacks. |

What the Sabres need is a player worth building around, and Hall, if available (which I actually doubt he is) might be the closest the Sabres get, assuming they maintain even half of their current pace. They have good pieces to build with. They don't have a cornerstone yet, and they need one. - buffalofan19
I don't think Hall is available now but it seems like Yak and Eberle could be. If Edmonton wants to move Hall, it will be in the off season and there will be plenty of suitors. |

BTW the best decade for Rock was the 70's, and it's not even close.

Totally agree. Zep, Bruce, Bowie, all the folky stuff, the Band, Dead etc etc etc...
Most underrated and, to me, best American band from 77 through 85=Talking Heads. Second best rock rythm section ever behind Zeppelin. |

It was the best Hat, I lived it as a teen and then a young adult, went to lots of concerts. I remember seeing Pat Benatar at Stage One before she made it big and the Cars at the same place. I worked for my school radio station spinning the disc's and then worked at a bar as a DJ for a few months, Cougars in Depew. Disco ruined the greatest era in rock and roll. |

Back in the day, my favs were Seger, Zeppelin, Boston, Eagles, Rush, Heart and even Queen. I always thought Freddie Mercury had the greatest voice in rock and nobody could play a guitar better than Clapton, maybe Jeff Beck.

There were so many great bands in the 70's. I even liked Peter Frampton for a while. CSN was another awesome band, liked J Geils but he was more the 80's, I think. I loved CCR as well. |

Early Genesis was fantastic, especially with Peter Gabriel. It's sad that some of these legends are getting older. |

Yep, I am well aware.
I was born in the 60's.
That's why I won't debate it.

Being born in the 60s was most likely a result of our parents party times |

A few thoughts while wondering whatever happened to Dennis Persson.
I watched the replay of the Amerks game last night against Adirondack. Ruhwedel had his struggles in the d zone, didn't handle the puck or play very well, esp in the 1st. McCabe also had his struggles early but played much better at later points in the game. Three D'Amigo isn't very good, career ahl'er.
Now the good stuff. Armia totally dominated the game, best player on the ice. He should have had 3 goals in the game and he must have had 5-6 scoring chances. If he isn't our 1RW in a few years, I'll be shocked. His nifty stick handling and finding open areas is outstanding. Grigorenko had another solid game himself, those two are terrific together.
I would think if the Sabres make a multi player trade and include a prospect, I would think Larsson or Schaller could be moved. |

I had a 76 Road runner, went over to Como Park in Lancaster, popped the trunk and blasted music out of the 8 track and drank Genny Cream. The good old days. |
