Being an athlete years ago now . I cannot revel in any players injury whether on the opposition or especially on the team I cheer for . Had too many painful injuries myself including no less than 5 knee surgeries. Sorry Hardhat I am Type A personality too , Just cannot understand that thinking.

Looks like from a few tweets this morning that Schaller and Pysyk have been recalled, not McCabe and Armia. Interesting. Looks like Kaleta and Moulson are in sick bay and others dealing with flu like symptoms. Myers is out.

In all seriousness, while we don't know the extent of his injury (at least I haven't heard anything), a big factor in the "do we hitch our wagon to Tyler Myers" debate is his durability. He's missed significant time every year since his first two seasons.

I would agree. Schaller was recalled before, maybe they just want to keep Armia in Rochester for the season, regardless of what happens. The Amerks don't play till Friday so these call ups won't be an issue with the Amerks schedule. Still a bit surprised about Armia.

Kaleta played a 3rd/4th line role, something that Armia can't and shouldn't play anyway. If you saw someone like Moulson or Ennis go down, I think you'd see Armia called up.
