Well, right now, is it more important to find The Quarterback, or fill the holes and built a serious contending team? Right now, they're a good team with holes. If they go after that franchise QB now, they will be an OK team with holes. Easier to find a couple corners, a decent LB and WR and see if Foles can be more like last year's Foles with more weapons and a healthy line. - Jsaquella
It's impossible to sustain success in the NFL without having a good QB. Can the Eagles really make all the necessary tweaks to make this team good enough to compete for a SB with Foles as the QB? |

true. im not a fan of kap or rg3.
i really like matt ryan, although admittedly he really hasnt shown the ability to win those big games either. i still just have a hard time imagining any of the guys being acquirable though, other than either kaepernick or rg3. - stayinthefnnet
I wouldn't touch RG3. He's terrible. Kaep may be able to be had for a reasonable amount.
I would pay a lot for Ryan. In Chip's offense, he'd be great. |

See Manning, Eli.
Or Johnson, Brad
Or Dilfer, Trent
Or Kaepernick, Colin
Or Roethlisberger, Ben
Those guy all won Super Bowls-or got there anyhow. I don't think there's a Hall of Famer in the bunch. Most are good, solid starters, maybe a pro bowl or two, but hardly great QBs. |

win or lose, if the eagles acquired ryan, they would tug on my heartstrings A TON. it would be hard for me not to pull for them.
rg3 is garbage. i really dont think kaep is that much better. newton pisses me off, and i think he is overrated in many ways. but, im not willing to put him in the same bin as those other two. |

I'm not saying a good QB can win without much help and I'm not saying an average to below average QB can't win a SB. It's just rare that average QBs win Super Bowls.
It's like trying to win in the NHL without a #1 dman or #1 center. It's possible, but very difficult to do. You basically need to get lucky and be superior at every other position.
I also think Roethlisberger and Manning are significantly better than Foles and I believe Kaep is a little better as well. |

The big boys on D will have to play as such, Jets are bringing it to the crease. |

Who? Manning is inconsistent, Roethlisberger is overrated, Kaepernick is mediocre...Trent Dilfer was barely a starter for most of his career. Johnson had some big numbers |

He really has been amazing this season, right along with Giroux. I hope this franchise gets it together quickly, because you hate to see guys like Giroux and Voracek putting up seasons like this for nothing
Gotta find a way to get better, and fast. There has to be a way |

Voracek and Giroux sole leaders in the NHL. So we've got that going for us. |
