Wouldn't the better player make a team better? IMO, that is where they lost out.

It normally would, however they were hell bent on moving him for various reasons. They had two choices, maximize the return or find a specific player you believe is perfect for your style of play. The problem with option 2 is if you're wrong, you look really bad.

Eriksson is a better version of Kunitz. Good player who's numbers were inflated because of playing with a great center.

Seguin is one of those great centers.

Agreed, Im not trying to defend the trade but I understand the motive behind looking for eriksson. Problem is it appears as though they were wrong.

A quick google seach will easily document Orton's issues. I have it on good authority that Myers was sent to counselling in 2013.

I met Myers about two years ago. He really is a nice kid. We went out for a couple of drinks a few times after our out patient sessions at rehab.

Edit: In all seriousness, I work for a very popular local retail business in the corporate office (big boy job) where mostly kids work in the field at our locations. I have heard from many that they have seen Myers out A LOT and he sure does like his drink.

Myers does a lot of charity, he's worked with my Aunt actually on a project. Nice guy
