Easiest solution for the loser points.... 3 points for regulation or OT wins, 2 points for shootout wins

Guy should never touch the ice for us again. No excuse at this point. Donovan is an upgrade over strait. Better off putting a street cone out there in his place.
- Cptmjl

I hate to pile on the guy but a street cone would make less mistakes.

I still feel a little like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. This team has beaten losing into me for a long time. This winning is confusing me

Here's how the Metro would look: (If my adding is correct) The same seeding wise but there would be more point separation.

Metro:
Pens - 66
Isles - 63
Rags - 53
Caps - 50
Flyers - 44
Jackets - 39
Devils - 39
Canes - 30

No not at all but I think it would also change how teams play toward the end of the game. If they are chasing teams to get into playoffs, they will push harder instead of saying lets just get to OT or a Shootout. Would also make the ends of game even more exciting.

awesome quote from the score's power rankings

"That Hockey Canada has passed over the Islanders' top prospects means that Garth Snow is nailing his draft picks."

The only thing ever said against this is the Point totals for the top would be new records...etc. The easiest solution to that rather dumb argument is 1/2 point. Reg win or OT win is 2 points... Shootout win is 1.5.

Heard about the stellar play of Sorokin in world juniors, didn't hear anything on Williams but the G drafted before them (I believe) McEames (how ever spelled) is now 2nd string G on his college team.....
