I have to admit this is the least amount of hockey I've watched since well a really long time. I have a very hard time watching these Flyers, very frustrating so I decided not to torture myself and get center ice. So I have a question, does Schultz really deserve to play over MDZ or is it that they play such different roles on D?

Schultz has been their most consistent D man all year. It may be hard to believe, but it is true. They have got good value from him. MDZ has been up and down. IMO he just gets pushed around too much in his own end

I see MDZ is now pissed off regarding his extended stay in the pressbox. I don't blame him. You have to give the guy a chance to fix his errors. And its certainly not like all 6 D men playing are keeping him off the ice.

Yup. Chrome browser, AdBlock and AdBlockPlus. Maybe if Ek actually geared his ads toward his audience - hockey fans - he'd have better luck getting clicks and sales to help support the site. It's not difficult, but some people just aren't that great at marketing.

I don't bother doing it on my iPhone. Not techy but its one of the new 5 versions and it slows it down.

If he thinks he can get away with shoving continuous autoplay adds, and now the banners on the side down my throat without people doing anything we will see.

And if you want no advertising at all, you can be a STH and there are no ads. But seeing banner and sidebar ads you don't even click through on seems a small price to pay for a site you don't pay a single penny for.

Yeah, well, when I. On my tablet, I get auto play ads all the time or my page gets hi-jacked & redirected. When I use Adblock I have no issues.

I'd have no issue paying for a season ticket. I told management what they'd need to do to get my $20 a year back. It's in my picture.

All defenseman in Coburn's class are inconsistent, or have some weakness to their game. That's why he's a 2/3 defenseman instead of a #1. The problem with Coburn is that he simply is not a lead defenseman. When he is placed in that role, like he is now, it affects him mentally. He feels the pressure and tries to do much, instead of staying within himself and playing a simple game. Put him with a player like Timonen, and he's a quality physical defensive compliment. It depends on what his salary demands are going to be in the future, but as long as it is not out of line, the Flyers need to think real long and hard about bringing him back. Big strong quality defenseman like Coburn don't grow on trees.
I'm a big Grossmann fan, and love him for the warrior that he is, but he is limited. The Flyers have to overplay him because they simply lack a legitimate top pairing. He's taken a physical beating, honestly, I think either one of Grossmann or Luke Schenn is where they need to cut to make room for one of the young defenseman.

Coburn is limited too, imo. I know he's taller and more mobile, but I can't really think of things Coburn is doing out there that Grossmann can't do, and one could make a pretty good argument that Grossmann has been the better player this season.
