I really don't like the lack of depth behind our top AHL guys right now though. That could be a huge problem if they move one. - HonkFortheGoose
Florentino is a keeper big fan
don't sleep on Martin that was a good pick was thinking he be gone late first |

Kind of like Edmonton with their forward depth.
There isn't much behind what's already playing. |

my guess is this was done before the season
looking back at most re-drafts, it's seldom the player the sabres draft goes higher in a redraft - homiedclown
It's worth noting that this particlular site has colton teubert ahead of tyler ennis in their re-draft...so yea, there's that. |

There's a huge gap between when they'll be ready and the guys we have already though. That's the problem. |

we can't keep all the young D we have to move some to get a impact player
maybe in the summer time or deadline we need a impact winger or center ( but don't see one out there that will be moved ) |

The 2013 5th round that the Sabres had could be one of their better 5th rounds.
I too am a big fan of Florentino, and they also got Possler in that same round. |

You make it sound like we have an abundance of them. We really don't. Meszaros and Benoit are not going to be here next year. Weber should be shown the door as well. Strachan can be used as a depth guy again if they chose to resign him.
That leaves:
Myers, Gorges, Risto, Zadorov, Pysyk, McCabe and Ruhwedel. If they don't move Weber, they can send McCabe back to Rochester without risk of losing him. Beyond those guys, there's nothing even close to being ready for NHL action for depth purposes. Trading one is not a good idea IMO. |

You can always sign a D FA or trade a pick for one like Josh Gorges ( what a great trade) |
