At this point I would tend to agree, but I wouldn't rule out certain people in the organization (Whaley mostly) who would want to see more of EJ.

14 games for a 1st rounder is a very small sample size.

I know they are different positions, but Jerry Hughes was written off as a 1st round bust by the Colts. He didn't play much in Indy.

At least if EJ played you could say either benching him helped, or he was helpless. Now IMO there is a realistic chance he's in camp next year battling for the starting job.

I'm sure they will offer more to get him, I like Cutler he can throw the ball from one end of the field to the other, who catches that pass is another story. Doubt the Bills will get into a bidding war for him unless they really think he's the answer.
