Yes. That's what you want your team to be able to do. I miss nights like this. If we don't get Mceichel, Pegula will have to buy one in FA to play along the many good prospects we have and our three firsts this year.

Knowing how good that could set us up, I do go into each game with the mindset that we should lose
But when the game is actually on & I'm watching, I can't help but cheer for the blue & gold
I end up being Ok with the outcome either way

Hodgson is gonna be a problem. He is a one trick pony that isnt doing much of his one trick these days. And hes under contract for about 5 million a year for 4 years. I wouldnt go so far as to say he has negative value, but hall is a star and hodgson and his salary definitely dont help that deal. If anything like a hall deal was to happen, its probably in the offseason- see what kind of center you get in the draft and maybe grigorenko becomes available.

Before the season started everyone pegged us for 30th. Carolina and Arizona weren't even in the conversation, not what we thought.

Myers and Ennis better get us one hell of a return. If I had my choice I'd prefer to move Ennis and Pysyk.

And there likely would be a bidding war for Hall, so we aren't getting off cheap
If we wanna try n steal someone from them, I still think Yakupov could thrive with a change of scenery

I hope you're right but I don't see Edmonton doing anything that would improve the team that much. And Staal will help Carolina defensively and give them another line but they'll still not be much better.

This season hurts. At this point I'll cheer the wins.

Stewart & Stafford are improving their trade value day by day
They both have been looking much better
I just hope they're packaged with a pick or prospect so we can get a nice return
We don't need any more 2nd round picks or mid level prospects
