I'm not going to drag this out, but the notion that Wayne Gretzky didn't expect to be treated differently than his peers in many situations is laughable. He did expect it, and he got it, because he 100% deserved it.

Agreed, although I have noticed him the lAst several games...maybe I'm looking for him more..or his line mates are better suited to his style of play? Not sure, just know I notice him more...kinda like Folgno before he screwed his hand up. Going to the net harder.

His team sucks though, they give up 40+ shots on a nightly basis. His one shutout he had this year he made 48 saves.

Gretz pretty much demanded Bernis Nichols to be dealt.

Gretz told management to get Kurri, Coffey, and Fuhr.

What Gretz wanted he got for the most part, and rightfully so as he was/is the greatest player to lace them up IMO.
