It's Girgensons team right now because we don't have many good players.

In 3 years that's not the case. Girgensons is still incredibly immature away from the rink. Pulling the "Do you know who I am" card at Encore downtown.

He was wearing it at times late last season....


And those guys are Vets in comparison. They don't want to heap too much on the young kids. They've been very vocal about that. Not to mention it's already been said that Girgs doesn't need to have a letter to still be a leader in the room. The rest of the guys look to him anyway.

I don't think anyone said that, just that we would finish last and get reinhart (and we did)

And Im not even sure anyone was worried about which player to take this, the general consensus in the off-season as far as worries goes (at least from what i remember) was if this team would play itself out of drafting a game changer.

I think a lot of us can expect the unexpected, we just don't want to and don't want it to happen.

This point doesn't even matter, since they got Reinhart at 2. I think even had they gotten the 1st overall pick, they would have picked the same guy anyway.

Not sure why Tim would move his best player in Ennis when we have very little talent up front to begin with.

All I can say is, respectfully, I am thrilled that you are not the GM of this hockey club.

You keep Ennis for certain.

If Murray keeps waiting to dump Myers for a decent return , before you know it, that return may be as low as a 3rd rounder.

And I only give Myers that much coming back because I am sure we can all remember Goose bringing us back a 1st.

I'll be a happy man when I can watch him in another sweater tripping over some other teams blue line leading to a 2 on 1 back the other way.
