Wouldnt shock me one bit if he ended up on the wing on the first line. Pretty much want him on the ice as much as possible. The fact that he is a plus player on this awful team as a 20 year old is unbelievable (even if you think +\- is a ridiculous stat). Love the way the kid crashes the net. Also impressive is the fact that he only has 19 minutes in penalties.

Pommer is a solid player that would be a good addition to any team. I also have no issue with Ott or Miller. Just glad that we took a different route. What was here wasn't working so it was time to change the plan.

Vanek is the only one of that group you listed specifically that I wouldn't have wanted to tie myself to any longer. The disinterested way he plays always irked me.
