Because someone says something that you do not agree with, that means they are employing someone elses schtick?

You can't disagree that the defense has been bad.

Obviously the joke went right over your head...

Saying Subban's been average at best is exaggerating quite a bit... He's taken some flash out of his game and is trying (and mostly succeeding) to play a more efficient game.

would have been better off trading Emelin instead but one of them had to go.
- DoubleDown

We were 100% sure of what we were getting with Gorges... at comparable contracts, it was worth it to gamble on Emelin...

it's amazing. all of this PK criticism is based mainly on the lack of flash in his game right now. every other metric suggests he's playing well. he's a positive possession player on a terrible possession team, despite drawing tough assignments more often than not. he's scoring at a 50-point pace. he's +9 on a team that doesn't have a high goal differential.

but he hasn't done a spin or rama in 2 weeks so (frank) him.

- DoubleDown

Lol. I want to see 9 mill worth of spin-o-ramas!

PK is playing really good for the Habs. If not for him our D would be Oiler-esque. Ppl look at the 9 mill and cringe but realistically it's about 1 mill more than I would have expected but there's only one other guy I would want as #1 D from any other team and that's Weber (debatable I'm sure, but that's my opinion). So really, Pk is good value and actually cares about winning every game.

Basically, I agree with you lol

He has been average. If you compare his game to where it was in the playoffs or in the lockout shortened season, it's night and day. He has been creating so many turnovers and making mind boggling decisions.

No, PK isn't playing well. He has been average at best all season.

I'm not sure Petry is a big improvement. Decent offensively who has major brain cramps in his zone.

That's what I'm saying, the market isn't really there for help on D, it would seem. I would like to see a few games from Tinner/Patryn, and Nygren actually

Pas vraiment. Tout ce qu'on dit c'est que la défense est mauvaise depuis le début de l'année.

c'est pas parce que tu n'es pas d'accord avec quelqu'un que tu dois le comparer aux autres...

Sekera or Michalek. Not sure how much that help.
- deadpoulet

I would rather sekera. No interest in michalek for me

More to my point that there isn't much out there to bring in.

Bergevin could make a trade, like he did to get Gonchar.

Or, play one of the kid in Hamilton.

I wouldn't mind seeing a few of our Bulldogs get a shot. I never want to see Allen make it back in
