Jets, Wild, Panthers... All average teams that just skated around them.
Even the Stars, Leafs won that game, but they were controlling the game. |

Good for them!
Good to see them produce offensively. Gilbert was expected to bring in offense when he signed so it's nice to see him bring some.
Markov and Subban can't be the only ones relied upon to bring offense from the blue line. |

Won't make a difference. That's a rotten core that isn't interested in defence. |

He's in a zone. But I wouldn't sell the rest of the team short. They've really cleaned up defensively last 2 weeks. A lot seemed to change when he moved Beaulieu up on Long Island. Guys on CBC praised the 5-man unit concept. |

when was the last time they won a game and he wasn't the 1st star or had a major impact? excellent team game tonight. 2nd of a back to back, end of the road trip, against PIT... very good. |

I haven't. My problem remains having Gilbert/Emelin as a second pair. The Habs are currently first in the east. They can't expect to continue having as much success with those two on the 2nd pair. They are a disaster in their own end. I'm sure most can agree with this.
On the bright side, Beaulieu is playing extremely well. I hope he's not taken out of the lineup after one bad game. Let the kid play. |

TVA Sports gave him the first star. If there was ever a win not to give it to him, this would be it. |
