I liked Tuch and Matthews but i still struggle to see what's so great about Hanifin.

Yep, thought the same thing.

Also, Eichel plays hockey like a basketball player. He just seems to keep to the outside of the play until he gets the puck, then he drives to the slot. It's interesting and creates chances, but almost completely ineffective against real good defensemen.

- BINGO!

Eichel is much more complete than you think. He's good defensively, on faceoffs and he can get physical.

The Americans bought into their own hype and failed to play as a team. Individual plays, bad penalties and poor character sinked them.

I'm just saying why people love him. Teams jizz all over 6'3 guys who skate like the wind and have a brain.

Yeah maybe, i only watched him 2 games (Fin and CAN). And i didn't bother following the top prospects this year. Was it Button who compared him to Hedman? lol...

plus there's the chance that at 17, he might still have some room to improve or refine his game.

Oh I definitely noticed him in his own end too. Not suggesting he isn't an exceptional player, just that I found the way he tried to create offense in this tournament interesting.

Still thought that they treated him a lot like McDavid's line was treating him early on where they seemed to just give him the puck and sit back and watch him try to do something with it without lending much in the way of support.

Larkin was better, though (frank) those Kesler comps are accurate, he can't pass to save his life. A one man army.

Larkin was way better.

Also I expected way more from Sonny Milano, but good lord the kid just shoots the (frank)ing puck from the same stupid spot over and over and over.

Sure, it looks cool when you can beat a set goalie on the short side from the bottom of the circle, but how often does it actually work? Pretty low percentage shot.

I'm not looking at stats, in fact I don't even know what his stats currently are. He's very similar to Jérémy Roy here in Sherbrooke, but he's 3-4 inches taller. Flawless player, offensively and defensively.
