An L tonight against Tampa, and a W by EDM in CGY will leave us 6 points behind with half a season to go. The tank is not over
And proof that Teddy is on board with the tank... hes giving Risto another day off even though Risto says hes ready and wants to play |

He will be fine. He shouldn't even be in the NHL unless it's on the wing in a sheltered role |

I wasnt here for the WJC discussion the other night, but how was the reception for Reinhart... are we back to believing he will be a really good (franchise?) player for this team? Or is this year a bust without McEichel?
Reinhart has been tremendous so far in this tournament. And I completely overlooked Dylan Larkin in my call out that Tuch would be USA leading scorer. He's been a complete stud for USA. Fasching has helped that line be one of the best of the tournament.
Wish USA would put Compher with Eichel and Tuch, they need a motor guy on that line. |

I think the only analysis that needs to be done about the current team is that we appear to have good leadership teaching the kids how to play the right way. I couldn't give a rat's a$$ about what the pp or pk is right now.
I am all-in on the tank but I think we'll be fine without the top 2. We need top-line players and it wouldn't surprise me if at least two of them are already in the organization. Also, we are going to be drafting extremely high this year and quite possibly again next year. And I still think Myers gets moved at some point for a huge haul. |

I think we hope he turns in to Patrice Bergeron or maybe even a poor man's Datsyuk. In some ways I wish he was more physically dominant but he really does appear to be sneaky-good. |

Reinhart and Ristolainen, who are our top 2 propsects, just so happen to be the smartest two players in the organization (hockey IQ)
It will go a long way |

Looks like Jim Haslett is on the market now. Does Pegula do Sabres-like moves and bring back an old Bills player into the fold? Marrone goes, Schwartz moves up to HC, Haslett as DC? |

I think so as well. I've been watching Reinhart closely at the WJC and I really do see what TM meant about the little things and his vision. Risto might be more outwardly dynamic but you can absolutely see his vision as well. |

2. Buffalo Bills — 19 Percent
Take the icy permafrost of Lambeau, take away the winning, and add in an impending fear of moving to Toronto, which is actually a really cool city, and you have the Buffalo Bills. Take away the winning might be a kind way to put it, actually, since the Bills have only been able to put together one positive season in the last thirteen years. It seems safe to conclude that when you’re most famous for losing consecutive Super Bowls, players might not have the most faith in your organization’s ability to be awesome.

Considering that the Toronto thing doesn't exist at all anymore, I'd say whoever wrote this needs to check some facts before writing an article next time. |
