My 2 year old son just learned what boobies are(not sure where he came from) so I'm sure he'd enjoy that.

The answers you seek are here:

And the only truly connected source, at least that I am aware of, to the Sabres, is Ed Kilgour locally. However, Bobby Mc has been known to speak with Ed, and a few others.
If I'm a fan, I'd listen to what Bobby says quite often, and not specifically about our organization, but about what is being whispered as available or on the market player wise.

He is truly trusted amongst the league with information and is used as a conduit for such. He just doesn't throw out what he hears unless he's been given the thumbs up to do so.

Have a great new years all.

Shannon Pub on the Blvd just a bit further up past the Blvd Mall is a pretty good option too.

Perhaps they do get Hanifin if they end up at 3?
- buffalofan19

IMO I think the tank is plan A. If they are closer to top 5 than top 2, Plan B: I could see trading Myers and pieces for a top line talent. Than draft Hanafin and he can go to AHL instead of back to BC depending on his offseason progression. Just an idea.

Only problem is then you are banking on 2 20 year olds and an 18 year old to potentially anchor the blue line.

Pysyk would be 23 but he's far from a "vet"

Gorges realistically is a 4 or 5 on a playoff team

That's just a shade North of Sheridan drive on the East side of Niagara Falls Blvd.

It's average like Myers, not great.

Being that its 2 minutes from my home and have frequented it on my way home for work let's just say I never go there for food.

Before I married Mrs. Kaiser, we used to run to my place for a HOT MINUTE at lunch and I would come back to the office with a different tie on, just to see if people would notice.

Boy, that was a while ago.

While I listen to many fans and what they say and think about the organization, I think many of the fans don't fully understand the individuals that Mr. Pegula has around him. Ted Black, contrary to many fans thoughts on him, is no puppet. There is sound reasoning as to why himself and Sawyer are here and it goes beyond mere marketing of the brand.

As for personnel decisions, those rest solely on the shoulders of Mr. Murray. There is a reason the owner, the President of Hockey Operations, the GM and coach have meetings, and it isn't to talk about the spread layed out for brunch that day.

Its great having somebody connected to drop by, agree with pretty much everything youve said- and i love the plan that murray has and that he is willing to wait to get the exact player he wants. You mention ken sawyer- dont know much about him except that he was the one telling pegula that darcy was a genius. Im getting the distinct impression that murray does not value the same things in a player as darcy did. Murray seems hellbent on excising darcys players from the roster. Which is fine btw. How does sawyer fit in this equation? Also, does murray hate hodgsons game and contract enough to buy him out after the season?

I have to think Hodgson's young enough that someone would trade him for something, nothing great, but something.
