Follow thru HS call against the US. Is the rule of follow-thru not called in the NHL only?

Jesus the Canadians can really smell it can't they.

It's what needs to happen to move forward. They can run MDZ and Colicacovo as 6/7 for the rest of the season and it won't cost them anything more than they are already paying.

You send him down now, nobody is gonna touch him at the TDL. I just don't see a reasonto do something that drastic now. Unless it's to force Berube to play MDZ or Colaiacovo, and if you have to do that, then fire the coach, because at that point, the GM is basically the coach anyhow.

Dumping Schenn to the Phantoms so MDZ can play isn't going to get this team into the playoffs

It's just not going to change. It not about the playoffs. It's about making the moves that need to be made to a roster that is proving incapable of competing at an acceptable level for the salary commitments it has.

I get that, I don't see the benefit of sending Schenn, or anyone else among the veterans down, right now. Unless you've shopped the Hell out of them & have an indication that somebody might grab them on waivers, to lose the contract.
