I spent a good bit of the offseason in the Hawks board (hoping Kane wouldn't get re-signed), and they came off of a great year, Western Finals, recent Stanley Cup Champions...and they too criticize and tear apart portions of their team.

Fans is short for fanatics, so it comes with the territory. We're going to be critical of things for that reason - look at these teams that are great and get talked about by their fans!

Exactly. These things are not exclusive here. It's just getting a bit old that some people criticize others for being critical of the team. It's a perfectly normal thing for a fan to want better.

Goes to show ya. Not every one is happy. There are always aspects of the team that people follow that can be improved . Regardless of the outcome (winning) some are not happy. Some just need a reason to complain and be heard.

Next week or two . Will be the 1/2 way mark of the season. Me thinks things will start moving . unless they want to keep things the way they are to have a shot at the 1-2 draft spots.

They did nothing but preach patience when they took over everything. If the goal of the year is to end up with the highest pick possible, any real movement on the actual squad right now could actually derail that.

What they've done has been very calculated, IMO. It's not smart to make moves just for the sake of making moves either. It's a balancing act. If Murray gets an offer for something he can't refuse, I'm sure he'll take it. But as of right now, he doesn't like what's been offered out there.
