That one was awful. Not only was the guy out of the crease, he stepped in front of him while he was in the air.

The key to this game is I don't see the Russians taking it very seriously. The refs aren't going to keep throwing them bones like this.

It was a ticky tack call for sure, but at least you can make a case for "letter of the law" there. The goaltender interference call was just plain ridiculous. He wasn't facing a shot. He stepped out in front of a player, and he was out of the crease. There's absolutely nothing there that warrants a penalty.

This seems like a game where the coach needs to take a bench minor, kind of like a basketball coach intentionally gets a technical foul to get everybody's attention, including the officials.

The US assistant coach looks like Paul Ryan.

Right? If the talk is Murray wants Larkin AND a first for Myers? That's crazy. I'd trade him straight up for Larkin. I like Myers and all but it's looking more like we will be picking in the 3-5 range and will end up with Hannifan or Kylington.

Larkin is doing well against 18 and 19 year olds.

Seriously though anything short of a CAN-USA final would be disappointing considering the final is in toronto.

Nobody is blaming Nolan. They're simply pointing out what he's good and and what he's not. It would happen no matter what coach is here. We're always going to be critical of the coaches, players, GM, etc. It's what fans do. We second guess everything because that's just how it is. You'll find the same type of things on every other teams board on here.

I went into the Kings one during the season they ended up winning their 1st cup and their fans were all over the coaching staff there. So even the fans of teams that have been successful complain about the shortcomings of the coaching staff.

Respectfully to you Goose, If I wanted to learn something about hockey, this certainly wouldn't be the place in all fairness.
You're one the few that actually know hockey here.
Anyone that blames anything that is going on with this roster on Nolan needs to just stop watching the game, period.
