I'm not upset about Marrone. Shows some sort of character flaw on his part, imo. However, if the Bills lose Schwartz too I'm going to go off the rails. |

Seems odd that he would be on Tinder. I would think that a guy that's on a professional sports team has no issues meeting girls. Using something like Tinder usually isn't necessary. - HonkFortheGoose

With Polian not coming because of Marrone, it makes the Bills look bad.
Personally I'm fine with no Polian. His team was 2-14 without Peyton.
Never won here.... So no big loss as far as I'm concerned.
However even with Terry's money, no 1st and no QB is a nightmare to attract a coach |

I'm quite sure he has a plan. And we know he has the money. However, he has to get a proper football mind in here to pick the next coach.
Wonder if Cowher would be interested in a presidents role? |

maybe polian doesn't want the headache of ties to an nfl team...espn seems like a pretty cushy job... |

i'd like the other bill p....parcells...
regardless of who they put up top, though, t-pegs should hire the best coaches available...
that's what the pats did...when the salary cap came, they put tons of money into the coaching staff |

Are these Caps jerseys actual retro jerseys or just a retro style jersey? |

Look at how Polian drafted the last few years as a colt
No big loss
get proven eyes that are "fresh" to Buffalo
and Peggy should fire Brandon for the 4 mil he cost him with that contract |

And I'm sure he will.
Hopefully whoever they bring in as coach is on board with Schwartz as DC. |

Flip side is it also makes Marrone look really bad
I bet Marrone ends up in the black book and coaches college ball in 3 years

this defense needs to win now...and if they want to win now they'll need to hire an experienced head coach...am tired of newbies coming to buffalo and "learning" on the job...
that's why I wouldn't mind seeing rex ryan at the helm |

I am thinking this will be a complete overhaul from top to bottom in the front office and entire coaching staff
I heard on xm today that the host would be shocked if whaley still had his job by the end of the month

meh...I like what whaley has done, namely bring in football players...has been able to do it on defense, need to focus on offense |

I LOVE Rex, however he has no offensive mind. He'd have to bring in the best of the best, with regards to an OC.

I'm in the fence.
He has identified some good football players with later picks (Preston Brown, Seantrell Henderson). |

the offense line was brutal
his o line draft picks in the past draft were blah
never addressed the back up qb in the offseason
gave up next years first rd pick for that 1 wr, w/o having a qb that can get him the ball
I think if you give Whaley a C, for a grade, your being kind |

The opt out clause in Marrone's contract only became effective for three days at the end of the first season after there was a change in ownership in the team. Given the state that the franchise was in at the time, it wasn't really all that crazy. There was no way of knowing when control of the franchise would change, and whether new ownership would keep the HC, or anybody. If the ownership change happened right away, and there was comp for the year after, it would have been like Marrone took the job for nothing. In the end, it wasn't structured as crazy as it appears. |

maybe that's what Pegula should do...regardless of age, bring in the best football people he can get his hands on...
have said it before, chan gailey got the most out of fitz and a weak offensive line...they need guys who can handle almost any situation |

"Buffalo Bills general manager Doug Whaley talked up his team's lack of glaring needs entering the 2014 NFL Draft at the team's annual pre-draft luncheon today."
http://bills.buffalonews....needs-entering-nfl-draft/
Where Whaley should get credit is the depth on the D, the special teams, and having descent play from mack up TE's he brought in
IMO that is his strength
2 DB's go down, secondary still holds it's own
Kiko goes down, LB's hold their own.

He's also had some great moves
Seantrel Henderson with a 7th
Kiko in the 2nd
Woods was a good pick
Preston Brown is a stud for a 3rd rounder
Corey Graham was a nice pickup
Same with Spikes
Even depth players like Jarius Wynn and Stephan Charles have been good |
