Let me rephrase. He and Demko were the only impact players who didn't look scared. Eichel, Hanifin, Fasching, Compher, Tuch, Will Butcher, and Auston Matthews were all outclassed last night.

The most recent thing i saw was myers for larkin, jurco/sheahan, and their first. Holland said no. This was apparently after murray backed off of insisting on anthony mantha. Make of that what you will.

Canada has their top line of 19 year olds and then the generational talent as their 2nd line center

I judge teams by what they do on their PP. Canada is always doing what they want, when they want on the PP. As you go down the hierarchy of teams, you see the organization of PP go down. The Denmark/Swiss game looked great, until they went on the PP.

I wanted the us to call timeout on the pp right before canada went up 2-0. You could see from the puck movement that it was only a matter of time until they got the shot that they wanted. Its the lesser players that throw passes off your back foot, have to settle every pass down, or settle for point shots with no traffic in front- thats what sinks you on the pp.

Time for you to move on from the ridiculous notion that if Myers does not punch someone in the face or lay somebody out he is not a good defenseman . Some of the great defenseman in the history of the NHL did not exhibit those attributes . Do you think Detroit fans were screaming to get rid of Lidstrom or Boston fans showed that kind of Emotion to get rid of Orr or Bourque . It has gotten old and sad.
