I don't agree with this. He would be a nice chip at the deadline with the season he's having. If they plan on having him around you've got to believe they'd be tryin hard to move either grossman or coburn at the deadline

Would be a great move to re-sign Schultz for a 1-2 year deal and a modest raise. More value in keeping him then trading him.

The most I'd do on Schultz is the same deal he has now or a little be higher. Breaking $2m would be too much unless it stays a 1 year deal. I would not give him a 2 year deal unless it was for $1.5m or under.

Lecavalier has been strong on the forecheck since he returned to the lineup, along with his linemates, they've been solid in generating chances, and getting the puck to the net.

In a perfect world, they would trade one of Schenn/Grossmann/AMac before extending Schultz... but w/e.

So is Vinny being traded or is the coach going to be fired? What's going on with the Flyers? I haven't really followed them but thought they'd be in the mix for the wildcard. Didn't think they were a legit playoff team though still.

I personally would like to see Nick Shultz sit. There has been games where he probably should have but Berube refuses to pull that trigger with some guys. For me it isn't a matter of disliking him, I just think he's as deserving for a seat and I'd like to see our three defense pairs set up the way they were ment to now that there is no excuse of rust.
