Apparently, G got cut, but he got lucky, and needed to be helped off without putting weight on his leg. It turns out (from reports) that he will actually play tomorrow.
Me? I had a (frank)ing heart attack. |

Decent movie. Bobcat wrote and directed.
Loveless, jobless, possibly terminally ill, Frank has had enough of the downward spiral of America. With nothing left to lose, Frank takes his gun and offs the stupidest, cruelest, and most repellent members of society. He finds an unusual accomplice: 16-year-old Roxy, who shares his sense of rage and disenfranchisement.

while ive made it clear i loathe the flyers, i am very happy with then news that giroux appears to be okay. i dont care what sweater he wears, the guy is an absolute beauty of a hockey player. besides, people who root for injuries to their rivals are (frank)ing pussies anyway. hope he is back tomorrow for you guys.
the poop with chip kelly cracks me up. i really am fairly apathetic when it comes to the eagles anyway, but if anything will make me pull for them it is kelly. he is awesome. good for him for any sort of power play he may have pulled. lurie has always struck me as a rich wussy. howie roseman hasnt exactly shown himself to be some sort of clairvoyant anyway. its not as if chip is looking for some authority that reid didnt hold for ages anyway. if youre all in with him, youre all in with him. good for chip, and i hope he kicks ass with his hand selected crew. |

We can definitely agree on this.
My issues with Berube go right back to the moment he was highered and the reason is that I felt like we had a Cup contending roster entering last season. Maybe not a winner next to the LA Kings or Chicago Black Hawks but a team that could have gone deeper into the playoffs with the personnel that we had and maybe a more experienced Coach. Last season, Craig Berube was a rookie Coach. You and I disagree on Laviolette being fired, which is fine. However, in terms of firing a Coach three games into a season regardless of the team's status to me is unacceptable. The Flyers do what they do, they got impatient and unexpectedly threw the entire organization off course. Since then I haven't seen Berube do anything to make me believe he's leaps and bounds better then our last Coach. I've seen guys like Ken Hitchcock and Peter Laviolette come in and become a much needed game changer for the organization. Guys like Bill Barber, John Stevens and Craig Berube are guys who simply just show up and stand behind the bench in a suit to me. I don't buy anything Berube says to be honest. - SuperSchennBros
First off hopefully Giroux will not miss much time if any. Take away Giroux and Voracek and what have you got? Not much! Will Mason ever get another win?? He is playing okay but some of the D breakdowns will destroy any goalie. I agree there is no urgency to the start of any game lately and find this team very boring and am having a hard time watching even though I do. What is the answer to this lack of motivation? It is one of three things, a coaching problem? an overall lack of talent? Or a team chemistry problem? The answer is all three which makes getting things fixed in a hurry not likely. Sorry for the rant but man this is frustrating. Despite Mason obviously a better goalie than Emery it does appear the team plays a little harder for Emery. Is this just me or does Emery demand more effort?? |

Agree with the injuries. Especially higher profile players that help promote the sport.
Also agree with the Eagles stuff there. Sort of the best thing that could have happened to them was Roseman leaving the picture with personnel. Let Chip mold this his way... with his system.

exactly. i may be a pens fan, but im a hockey fan first. giroux is a marvel. absolutely a treat to watch. it cracks me up how some fans dont appreciate him.
and yeah exactly. with chip, i want to see him have two or three years of utter control for his system. if it blows up on him then fine, he made his bed. but until then, i want to see what happens. |
