I have to say that I've never been so happy to make a road trip and see my team get its ass kicked like that last night. - buffalofan19
A buddy of mine was at the game also. He said the arena itself made it worthwhile. |

I almost went to the other bar to watch them play last night
back to back games and flat on friday clinched my decision to grab the cheap beer closer to home - homiedclown
They did an awesome job with the renovations at MSG.
Although the "Bridge" they keep touting is nothing special. |

anyone with a brain can tell the sabres are a much better team with myers in the lineup
the $50 question is will the team be better with myers in the lineup, or the return Murray can get for him
Honestly, unless he is moved for an impact player, which may include having to add another piece to get that player, I wouldn't do it
if it's a prospect and a first, I'd pass - homiedclown
While I agree, you can have your pick among several others who don't. |

if I move myers, I want a known not potential - homiedclown
That's what makes it tricky. We would want back a forward that is his age or younger. Other than ROR I can't think of too many people that fit that are that age and "known".

Elkins says he's part of a huge deal brewing between TOR and COL

I am kind of worried that the Leafs might make a major overhaul and change the disgrace of a team that they have now. |

We've been worrying about that for almost ten years now. |

Yeah, but for the first 5 years of that they were terrible and the organization knew it. In the last 5 they seemed to think they were on the verge while it was clear to everyone else that they weren't. That has been very entertaining. |

They are 10 places above us in the overall standings. |

Sure, and going nowhere. I'd take our current organization over theirs any day of the week. |

as of right now, i'd say murray thinks they're better off with myers than trading him for the offers received...that's even if he's received any concrete ones
imo, and I've said this for a while...if they decide to keep Myers, a $5.5m cap-hit for a top-three d-man in his prime is well within reason |

Because capgeek was the Ferrari of NHL cap sites.

I remember growing up spending my early teens watching Sportscenter rerun 2-3 times a day just because of those two. He had his haters but he stayed who he was. He will be missed.

I think we'd be wise to get moving on the trades. I can see 4 or 5 teams falling out of the playoff race in the next month. Philly alone could be up for trading half their team.
