Stupid rule, but an obvious violation. The funny part was Larry Brooks treating it as the NHL going soft on Ed Snider, because they didn't release the amount of the fine.

Adding insult to injury, the Flyers played like the flight landed 10 minutes before puck drop, and lasted 18 hours.

It's ok, lots of people confuse the definitions of words. I'm certain "probable" will eventually mean "definite", just like "literally" means "figuratively" now.

Just make sure Merriam-Webster gives you credit when they make that change

With a baby girl at home, I wasn't able to watch all of the USA and Canada games, but neither Eichel or McDavid did anything to make the think they were NHL superstars-to-be. I mean, they looked good at times (McDavid more so) and had some nice plays, but nothing really blew me away. If anything, Max Domi and Dylan Larking (both older) were the ones I noticed the most.

And I still want to see someone (preferably Sam Morin) to hit Max Domi in the face with a cheese grater.

One positive is Vinny might now actually be a little tradeable.
